Special Events

Community, as well as providing a safe place for it, is very important to us here at WMBC. Throughout the year we host a variety of events for children and families that are open to the public and usually free of charge. We hope you will join us as we continue to build a safe and loving community in Southwest Houston.

Maundy Thursday:

Join us for dinner and a Maundy Thursday Service on Thursday, April 17th in the Fellowship Hall. Dinner is served from 5:30pm-6:00pm and costs $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under. A service of prayer, song, foot/hand washing, and communion will begin at 6:15pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Good Friday:

Join us in the Sanctuary at 6:15pm on Friday, April 18th, for a service of prayer, song, and contemplation as we focus our full attention on the cross. The service will also be available via LIVE Stream. Click the button below to go to the YouTube page.
