MPS Safety Guidelines 2020-2021

  1. No adults/parents in the building*

    1. A teacher wearing a face shield & mask will take the child’s temperature with a non-contact thermometer, while the child is in the car. When the child is cleared, parent(s) help the child out of the car.

    2. A teacher will walk the child inside to wash hands, and then to class.

  2. ALL preschoolers in by 9:20* See Schedule Below

  3. Classes will be sprayed with a hospital grade germicide while children are on the playground and again at the end of the day.

  4. Teachers will wear cloth masks and wash hands continuously throughout the day.

  5. Children presenting symptoms of illness during the day will be quarantined. The child will need to be picked up within 20 minutes. Parents must have a phone number on file that will be answered during school hours.

  6. Anytime your child will be absent: call Pastor Cyndi at 713.255.7025.

  7. If a child has a fever with any COVID-19 symptoms, that child must stay home for 48 hours after the fever is clear without any type of medication. Call Pastor Cyndi.

  8. If a child has a fever with any COVID-19 symptoms, they must stay home for seven days after onset. A note from a doctor or a clear COVID-19 test result form will be needed to return. Notify Pastor Cyndi.

  9. If a child comes in close contact with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, they must stay home for 14 days. Notify Pastor Cyndi.

  10. If a child develops COVID-19, Pastor Cyndi must be notified, by phone, immediately.

  11. Classes will not mix. For example: Music, Library, Playground, Early Birds, or Kids Club.

  12. Toys, books, and stuffed animals are not allowed on the campus.

  13. Napping will take place on vinyl mats brought from home. Children may bring a towel labeled with their name. This towel will be sent home weekly to be laundered.

    1. Cloth sleeping mats cannot be thoroughly sanitized and therefore cannot be used.

Kid’s Club 3:35 pm - 3:55 pm

Early Birds will be 7:55 am - 8:20 am

Classes will be 8:55 am - 9:20 am

 

  • WMBC will be closed to Postal workers, Fed Ex, UPS, solicitors, etc. during Preschool hours.
